We extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to Jac Thomas, Yr 7, as he travels to Belgium next week to play in a commemorative football match, marking the anniversary of the game played during the First World War truce. Our very best wishes to you Jac!

Congratulations to everyone involved in this year's fantastic school production, We Will Rock you!, held at the Park and Dare Theatre last week. Our pupils' fantastic talents were brilliantly displayed on stage and it was a pleasure to witness such commitment from every single performer. Thank you to our wonderful students for your very memorable performances. Thank you also to our supportive parents for your support during the rehearsal period and to our dedicated team of staff who have worked so hard preparing this production. Thanks also to every single person who bought a ticket and supported us.

Many congratulations to Yr 13 student Megan Sass, on winning the Rotary 'Young Singer of the Year 2018' competition, held last week. This is a deserved accolade and is testament to her hard work and dedication over many years. We are very proud of you Megan!

Congratulations to Ewan Griffiths on representing the region on the football field as part of the under 14 team who played against Bristol City recently. Fantastic Ewan

Many thanks to all members of our school community for your generous donations to our Harvest Collection this year. Members of the Rhondda Food Bank were very grateful for our support.

Many thanks to a group of our Year 9 students who have taken part in the S4C quiz 'Un Cwestiwn' recently - you were fantastic!
