Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhondda
Saturday, February 17, 2018

Our pupils enjoyed a very memorable visit to Westminster recently.

As we support the 'Wear Red for Wales and Velindre' campaign, we are also celebrating following the announcement that Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhondda has, once again this year, been placed in the Green category, as part of the National School Categorisation system. As a school community, we are very proud of this recognition which reflects the hard work and effective collaboration between pupils, parents, staff and friends of the school

Congratulations to our swimming team in the National Urdd Gala recently. Excellent performances across the board! 9 of the team reached the finals. Amongst the winners were Seren Haf Jones, winning silver in her 50m free, Yr 7&8 girls relay taking bronze and Yr 9&10 boys winning bronze and a gold in their very exciting relay races. We are very proud of them!
