Our aims are:

to offer a complete Welsh medium education from 11 to 18 years to every pupil to develop the ability, confidence and desire in each pupil to use Welsh as a living and relevant language

to provide care and guidance in order to support and motivate pupils based on a positive relationship with staff and with each other

to develop each individual’s character through a variety of experiences so that he/she is equipped to take his/her role as a well-balanced and responsible member of society

to develop a spirit of mutual respect and partnership with parents/guardians and support agencies

to foster a close relationship and regular contact between the school and its community

to develop a consciousness and pride in the culture, traditions, and heritage of the Rhondda and Wales, as a foundation for extending the horizons of knowledge and awareness of the inter-relationship of Wales with Europe and the world in the 21st Century.
